An Eyewitness video of Ear Falls Ontario Tornado July 9, 2009.
In the most saddest of ironies, 3 men from Oklahoma, a state known for its killer tornadoes, lost their lives to this monster in a remote but popular fishing camp in northern Ontario, Canada. (there are 2 confirmed dead, one missing and presumed dead, plus 5 injured). The EF2 tornado lifted the mens' cabin up off the foundation and threw it into the lake, many hundreds of feet away.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these men, all former educators, who were on a fishing vacation several hours north of Dryden, Ontario.
