- I started out my life as a military brat my father was a meteorologist in the military so I learned at an early age how fascinating storms could be. at the age of 4 my dad left the military and settled down in Richland Missouri where I went to school. I remember one summer as a child there had been a tornado in the area and after the tornado had hit the lake of the ozarks area the sky rained fish and I do mean fish, fish everywhere, all over our entire town thousands of fish, all kinds of fish, and all sizes of fish. It was truly amazing. Now as an adult I am a newlywed just got married August 30 2008 I have 3 dogs a cat and a guneia pig. Tornado's and big Thunderstorms are my passion. They give me energy. I am a proud member of CoCoRaH and I am proud to say that I am a Kspr weather watcher. I am working on becomming a storm spotter. I thought about becomming a meteorologist several times but I am not an inside type of person and I am much more suited to being out in the storm than being inside talking about it.
