Another gray day made interesting by the influx of hundreds of migrating coots on Table Rock Lake. This picture was taken while I hid in the shoreline bushes October 27, '09. It is interesting to note that coots do not have webbed feet.Music

The layers of mountains is always so amazing to me when I'm driving around in the Ozarks. The trouble is the roads are really too curvy to stand in the road to shoot it. I found an almost straight stretch and pulled over and grabbed two hurried shots.
